Minutes of JVFOA board meeting: March 6, 2016
Meeting called to order by Gailen Vick, President. After roll call, a quorum was declared met.

Workshops
are 1 to 3 PM and 3to 5PM. These are the
sessions advertised to the public to
establish/meet our stated purpose as an educational organization.
Treasurer's Report:
present funds $8,913.43

for annual meeting = $60.00 Early
registration discount = $10.00

includes Dinner Friday night and Lunch and Dinner on Saturday.
Newsletter Report:
January
issue is waiting for some finishing touches, but essentially ready for
distribution.
April issue
should be completed by the end of March

Jerry Vick is considered “chaplain” to maintain contact with
members that are more 'shut-in' than not.
If necessary [and able to find them], he plans to make contact with the
their children to have an update on their status (health, location, deceased,
etc.).

meeting, the annual is designated to fulfill that requirement.
